Despite the small surf, the sheer beauty of a calm day is overwhelming. Days like this are rare in the usually wind blasted hawaiian islands. The channel between Maui and Molokai, the Pailolo Channel, is know in the boating world to be one of the roughest in the world. Not today!
The break itself was almost flat today, with an occasional 1foot wave, never the less there were still 11 guys out and 2 going on each wave.
